In a few days (or more), we will be right in the rainy season or tsuyu in Tokyo. Just is the right climate for Houttuynia (Houttuynia cordata) to have flowers as shown in the photo. The Houttuynia plant can be made into tea when it is dried and the peculiar smell goes away with the moisture.
