Here is an applet that shows the time-table and the chronicle of events in such a way as to be able to show the ratio of the time span between each event (along the time axis).
To add an event, press Add Event and enter the
information in the dialog.
To delete an event, select the event in
the time table and press Delete Event.
To modify the
event description and the year of the event, edit the data in the time
table and press Ok.
The Enlarge (+) and Shrink (-) button will
resize the time line.
The Font (+) and Font (-) button will resize
the text size.
Shown in the applet is the history of Japan. The names of the era are written both in Japanese and English. The names are mainly based upon the location of the government at that time. (Snapshot)
